Dine Code Talkers

The Dine Code Talkers is a New Mexico-based non-profit group of the Navajo Code Talkers. Our mission is outreach, education and preservation of the Navajo Code Talker history.

Wednesday, June 4, 2014.  Chester Nez, the last of the "twenty-nine" Navajo Code Talkers passed away today in his home in Albuquerque, NM. During WWII there were over 400 Code Talkers, The original "Twenty-Nine" were the ones that created the actual code. It is estimated that there are less than 30 Code Talkers left. He and his family worked diligently to promote the history of the Navajo Code Talkers. He was also a member of our smaller New Mexico-based group, Dine Code Talkers. He will be missed.

The Dine Code Talkers website is under construction. Please go to our facebook page: Dine Code Talkers for current information about our outreach and  book signing events
